Did I hear correctly that

Did I hear correctly that revenue is $40B per year? That would be $20 for each person who uses Facebook per year.

I think it's more accurate to say some of us have allowed ourselves to be Zucker-ed. Other than my name and birthday (I do like birthday wishes), I do not have private information on FB. No address, no phone number, no hometown, no schools, and I do not allow tracking. With rare exception I don't allow my posts to be public. Those quizzes where you have to agree to allow access to your information and that of your friends so you can find out what kind of animal you were in a previous life? Just say no. I also don't play any of the games offered. I don't mean to sound self-righteous, it just seems to me a lot of this "scandal" is the result of lack of personal responsibility from users.
Of course, some of it is the result of frenzied Dems who are looking for anything remotely smelly that they can point to as the reason Trump is in the White House. It can't possibly be because he was duly elected, that would mean they simply lost.

Ultimate troll. Wonder how long it takes him to find these pictures, or if he's spending all day in the basement making new ones. It must be so satisfying to let the dozen or so people left in here admire his "work".

Wonder how long it takes him to find these pictures. About a minute, from research to posting. Less time than it takes for you to look up how to spell "troll".

Really, this could be a great thread to offer ideas and/or tips to help us keep our personal information private. I have another tip - avoid using facebook to log into other sites (instagram, yahoo, snapchat, etc.). To me, that just adds more possibilities for data mining.

lucky sad - "... Other than my name and birthday (I do like birthday wishes), I do not have private information on FB. No address, no phone number, no hometown, no schools, and I do not allow tracking. With rare exception I don't allow my posts to be public...".

I did the same, with one exception; I used a fake birthday month and day. Call it paranoia, but it works for me.

One's online security should be a personal responsibility. In this day and age, it should be part of daily life, like looking both ways to cross the street, and locking your doors at night.

I know the question is facetious, but... In a nutshell, facebook is a totally free social media service that millions of people use (but not Congresspeople, judging by the questions they ask about it), and now some of them are complaining because they think it should remain free but the owner should run it the way *they* think he should (even though they actually have control over how they use it). It makes no difference to these people that he co-founded it, and developed it, and he's the CEO. Apparently being free isn't good enough, and neither is just not using it.
I think it would be kind of hilarious if he just shut it down and moved on to something else.
